10 things we want from wizkid's album.

A wizkid album release isn’t just an album release, but it’s an event. wizkid has reinvented the art of dropping an album with a concert, whether it means changing musically or externally in the form of multi-media rollouts. the following is a list of 10 things we’d like to see in conjunction with the release of a wizkid album, both in terms of the project itself and the circumstances surrounding the release.

10 - GOOD FEATURES.

wizkid garnered major features for his album like banky w and wande coal, among others. for his coming album we would like to see features like that and possibly lower-profile guests who will remain memorable.

9 - COLLABORATION PRODUCTION.

superstar gave us some of the best collaboration production ever, with collaborations from the likes of samklef, bankyw, djklem, masterkraft, qbeats, jaysleek, shizzi. we would like to see some more of these and new ones.

8. RETURN OF WELL ROUNDED WIZZY.

we sure miss our wizzy. wizzy should stay a little away from deep materialism, we can't stand a flat social commentary. we love wizzy for his fearless exploration of the afro hiphop.  it’s one of the things that makes him most fascinating.

7. GIDI FLAVOUR.

with the advent of young talents claiming shitta and other neighborhoods, none has lived it up to the real shitta king. we would like to see more of the grassroot props from our wizzy.

6. EXPLORE MORE.

to be candid, wizkid has explored a lot of genres and has blended perfectly well on so many collaborations.. from international collaborations to national ones. we would like to see star boy explore more genres outside the ones already touched.

5. MULTIMEDIA ROLL-OUT

we would like to see more twisted videos, deep musical videos, extended short films, part high-concept companion piece. we want videos that are different from the norms.

4. IGNORE MEDIA RANTS.

wizkid is surely a star in all ramifications and ignorant critics cannot be put out of the picture.  A lot of backlash from social media and social commentary usually dish negativity. turning deaf ears and blind eyes to such rants will certainly serve our wizkid well.

3. BRING BACK GOOD FRIDAYS

we want a reason to unwind every friday again. it would do fridays a lot of good if wizkid can deliver more of the friday bangers.

2. THE ALL DEMOGRAPHY JAM

we want in our new album/albums that jam that all age brackets can jam to. pakurumo did it for us all.

1. STARBOY, HKN COLLABORATION

feuds are like tv dramas and all dramas usually come to an end. i'll be the biggest fan of a work from these two camps. :)
