Are you ready for a Rain 2015 collection?
Emerging Nigerian menswear design label, Josh Amor by Ayobamidele Josh Majekodunmi, presents “Noir” (French word for Black), its debut collection which draws inspiration from Kanye West and Natalie Portman‘s
character in ‘Black Swan’. The collection is aimed at being proof that
black has an entire world of opposites and can be interpreted in many
ways.
According to Josh – “While
Black can be described as a portmanteau of distilled moods and emotions
with no moral definition, its ambiguity is still as mysterious as the
existence of the world itself.” He also sees this collection as the
way to show how black is related to the dual nature of man’s
personality, and how it is the best medium to express the duality.
